Gas prices topping $4 and headed higher

I’m guessing you’ve seen the gas prices around Concord.
At roughly $4 or more, depending on where you fill your tank, it’s getting harder to make ends meet. It used to cost me $32 to fill my tank. Now it costs me more than $60 and it’s not just my gas tank that’s being affected. Oil prices are raising the prices of everything.
When will the madness end?
Actually, it never will.
I suggest you look up Peak Oil on the Internet and be afraid, be very afraid.
What can we do?
Nothing really.
Well, that’s not true, if we could get the Chinese and Indians (no, not Native Americans you idiot, the ones from India) to stop driving, life would be a whole not better for us. Too bad they don’t give a damn about the life style we’ve become accustomed too.
Pretty soon, we’re going to get a forced education in the lifestyle they’ve become accustomed too.
This sign posted by a Morganton gas station owner says a lot.
If only people would follow its suggestions.
Not the choke an Arab part.
I don’t think he meant that literally, but think he meant more like choke off their oil, but didn’t have enough room.
Too bad people won’t stop driving until their forced too.
The only fun I’m getting out of life right now is traveling to the local gas station to watch Concord residents with gas guzzlers pay more than $100 dollars to fill their tank and cussing while they do it.
Serves them right, really.
People have been saying for years that Americans need to start saving gas.
Did we listen?
Nope.
Now it’s too late and we’re all paying the price - literally.
